Angelyn has been active in the Republican Party for more than a decade. She has held professional and volunteer roles in numerous Republican campaigns and organizations, and brings experience in communications and messaging, grassroots organization, event planning, strategy, and fundraising. She was one of the main organizers of the 2016 Young Republican Leadership Conference and was responsible for executing logistics for many of the conference’s events.
An Atlanta native, Angelyn is serving in her second term as president of the Atlanta Young Republicans, the nation’s largest YR chapter. She has been the Georgia Young Republicans’ national committeewoman 2013, and she serves as interim vice chair for YRNF’s southern region, as well as chair of the campaign committee. In 2016, she was named YRNF Woman of the Year for her leadership efforts at the local, state, and national level.
In addition to her involvement with the Young Republicans, Angelyn is a vice chair of the Fulton County Republican Party and runs the organization’s monthly meetings. She holds a bachelor’s degree in finance from Wofford College and is pursuing a juris doctor from Georgia State University College of Law. She works in public affairs in downtown Atlanta, where she specializes in communications and media relations.
