Jason Emert

Chair

Jason F. Emert is Secretary of the Young Republican National Federation (YRNF). He has been a leader internationally and in the Young Republicans at all levels of the organization: state chairman, national committeeman, committee chairman, local chapter president, and dedicated member for over the past decade. Jason brings unmatched qualifications and a distinguished background to the Young Republican National Federation. Moreover, he is a friend to many and dedicated servant of the Republican Party.

Professionally, Jason is the Managing Director of The Emert Group, an international political advisory, public affairs, and government relations firm, which has led or served campaigns at local, state, national, and international levels. Recently Emert successfully advised current Jamaica Prime Minister Andrew Holness and served as National Co-Chair of the Young Professionals for Ted Cruz. Additionally, Jason is a member of the Florida bar and admitted to practice before the United States District Courts of the Southern and Northern Districts of Florida, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit. Plus, he is an adjunct professor of U.S. foreign policy, conflict and security, and international relations.

Furthermore, Jason has distinguished himself internationally. Jason is Chairman Emeritus of the International Young Democrat Union (IYDU), our international affiliate, having been honored as such following his tenure as chairman. IYDU is the youth association of the International Democrat Union (IDU). IDU was established in 1983 as an association of conservative and center right political parties by Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher and then Vice-President George H.W. Bush. Similarly, IYDU was founded in 1991 at the White House under the auspices of President Bush. Today over 80 parties in more than 60 countries make up the membership of the IDU/IYDU and their regional affiliates. During his chairmanship Jason led IYDU to a period of unprecedented growth and development around the world.

Lastly, this past April at the Young Republican Leadership Conference, Emert was awarded YRNF Man of the Year for his numerous accomplishments. Similarly, he was recently named as a “Future Leader in Foreign Policy” by the Foreign Policy Initiative, “20 under 40” by the The Daily Advertiser, and Leadership Blount Class of 2015. Emert is uniquely positioned to lead the Young Republican National Federation through the first two years of America’s historic Republican majority.
