Julia Nader Rabadi is the current Chairwoman of the Young Republican Federation of Oregon and a Western Regional Director for the Young Republican National Federation. Prior to her involvement in the YRNF, she attended Portland State University, where she graduated with a focus on Accounting and Arabic. She began attending College Republican meetings and soon became President of the group. Julia quadrupled funds and membership as President, while proudly showcasing the republican brand and principles on one of the most liberal campuses in the country. Her commitment to the GOP ensued after graduation when she founded the Young Conservatives of Oregon. To better assist the Oregon Republican Party during the 2014 midterms, Julia and former PSU CR Xander Almeida revived the Young Republican Federation of Oregon. As Chairwoman, Julia recruited YRs and coordinated calls/walking events for races across the state during the 2014 and 2016 cycles, and also represented YRs at various Portland engagements.
In addition to YRs, Julia sat on the Boards for the Oregon League of Minority Voters and the annual Dorchester Conference, where she also served as Treasurer for the oldest political conference in the country. During the 2016 elections, Julia worked with the ORP Executive Director as a Special Projects Coordinator to assist in leading Oregon during an exciting presidential year. She was also elected as an Alternate Delegate to the 2016 Republican National Convention.
Professionally, Julia is a Senior Audit Associate at one of the biggest accounting firms in the world. She proudly resides in the greatest city known for beer, food, and hipsters – Portland.
