Rob Burgess (Jeffersonville, IN) currently serves as the Vice-Chairman for Indiana’s 9th District for the Indiana Federation of Young Republicans. He has been involved in politics across all levels since 2006. In 2007, he was hired to work on the re-election campaign of Governor Mitch Daniels (R-IN). From there, his career took him to Kentucky and Ohio in capacities as political field staff. In 2013, newly-elected Governor Mike Pence called on Burgess to serve in his administration in the Department of Workforce Development. In the 2014 cycle, Burgess was sent to South Dakota where he served as the Communications Director for the South Dakota Republican Party. In this role, he help oversee the successful sweep of every statewide office for the first time in 50 years. At the conclusion of that cycle, Burgess joined the team at RightVoter where he advised and helped guide nearly 100 clients to victories across the country. During the 2016 Presidential cycle, Burgess served as Senior Advisor to Trey Hollingsworth’s successful congressional campaign as well as a Regional Political Director for CARLY for America, the SuperPAC focused on aiding presidential hopeful Carly Fiorina to victory. Once the primary ended, Burgess was hired to help oversee the War Room for the Trump campaign. Currently, Burgess serves as Director of Communications to Rep. Trey Hollingsworth in Indiana’s 9th District.
