Ryan has been involved in Republican politics for nearly a decade, in both New Jersey and Louisiana. Before moving to New Orleans, Ryan worked on numerous state, county, and local races throughout the Garden State. In addition he was active in the New Jersey Young Republican Federation, where he served as Secretary, Regional Vice Chairman, and Delegate to the 2014 YRNF National Convention in Mobile, AL.
Since moving to Louisiana Ryan has served as National Committeeman for the Louisiana Young Republican Federation, a position he has held since July of 2015. He has volunteered on the Louisiana Republican Party’s Voter Integrity Program during the 2014 runoff election for US Senate, and on the successful 2015 campaign of Louisiana Attorney General Jeff Landry.
Ryan holds a Bachelor’s degree in history from Rutgers University-Newark, and a Juris Doctor from Loyola University New Orleans College of Law. While at Loyola Ryan recieved several awards for his community service, including the 2015 Law Student of the Year Award from the Pro Bono Project, and the St. Thomas More Award from the St. Thomas More Catholic Lawyers Association.
