The Wall Street Journal calls Artemio “Temo” Muniz “part salesman of the Republican Party and part agitator within it.” Muniz is a proud member of the Houston Young Republicans of Texas. Temo, as a political strategist was able score victory in the 4th largest city of the United States, the Houston Metropolitan area, and give it its first ever Hispanic Republican State Representative., Temo Muniz led his candidate to victory in what was called the “shocker of the night” by the Texas Tribune by knocking out a Democrat incumbent who had over $235,000, with only $13k. Muniz lives and breathes grassroots outreach/ engagement and believes the future of the GOP lies in its abilities to build relationships year round, 24/ 7 and that the National Young Republican Federation can lead the way nationwide. Temo Muniz believes the successes he has been part of in the aggressive Texas Republican model of outreach can be scaled up across the nation via the National Young Republicans Federation.

Artemio “Temo” Muniz has served on the Outreach Committee for the Harris County Republican Party, has served on the Platform Committee for the Republican Party of Texas, Texas Engagement Network for the RPT, RNC Hispanic Engagement for Houston, is founder and Chairman of the Federation of Hispanic Republicans, an auxiliary of the Republican Party of Texas, is a volunteer member of the faculty of the Leadership Institute of Washington D.C. , and has worked on many campaigns including Alan Keyes as grassroots coordinator in Texas, Herman Cain for President, and  Newt Gingrich’s National Hispanic Leadership Team.

Artemio “Temo” Muniz outreach work has been featured in the Weekly Standard, Latino Magazine, Univision, and many other print, and television media outlets. In 2014, Temo Muniz also appeared in the national hit political film by Dinesh D’Souza “America: Imagine a World Without Her” as himself.
